Elecom Japan has launched an elegant stereo speaker system ASP-S750 for use with MP3 players and also with laptop PC. The active speakers have a futuristic design with 5 W (2.5W +2.5 W) output and 180Hz - 18 kHz impedance. The 52mm full-range speakers are a pleasure to listen. The right speaker has the power switch, volume control and power-on LED and the left and right speaker cable length is about 80 cm.

The Elecom ASP-S750 speaker system is powered by an AC adapter and will be available in white and silver color in Japan by end of December for 5040 Yen ($ 45).

JVC recently announced the addition of a new high-end model to its headphone line. The new JVC HA-S900 offers high quality sound reproduction in a lightweight, foldable over-the-ear headphone. The JVC HA-S900’s performance is achieved through the use of a carbon compound diaphragm mated to a ported ring that controls the diaphragm’s movement, or sound pressure level, and so provides greater detail across a wide frequency range. Further enhancing the listening experience are sound-insulating ear pads that effectively block out ambient sound while also providing a comfortable fit.

The cushioned ear pads fold flat, so they’re easily packed, and a carrying case is included. Other features include a gold-plated iPhone-compatible plug and a four-foot tangle-resistant cord. The JVC HA-S900 is available at a suggested retail price of $129.95.
