Samsung announced the launch of Soulb, “Sprit of Ultra” (Soul) in bar form factor. By containing all the merits of Soul DNA, Soulb outstands from all of the other bar type handsets available in market today, setting a brand new standard for bar handset category. An embedded 3-megapixel camera with Power LED, office document viewer and editor, full speed internet browser and Bluetooth v.2.0 will fully support convenience users need without compromising style. Quality entertainment features such as music player, video editor and recorder and FM radio with RDS are also embedded within Soulb. 1GB internal memory and microSD slot provides sufficient space for users to store all the music and pictures they love.

Samsung Soulb is fully covered in an elegant metallic body which is softly brushed with hairline pattern. Soulb‘s trim graceful outline with mere 9.9mm thickness undoubtedly resembles the sleek silhouette of Soul. Just as its precedent, Soulb once again amazes the viewer with its utterly splendid yet minimalist design. Samsung Soulb will be available in five luscious colors, Soul Grey, Platinum Silver, Metallic Black, Soul Pink and Amethyst Violet. Soulb will first become available in Germany early June

Here is some fresh dope on the much awaited iTablet, Looprumours has an exclusive source who is saying that the device will be running on a customized version of the Leopard and will be somewhere between a laptop and a tablet to be used as a personal Mac communicator. The iTablet will sport a mini optical disc drive and like the iPhone come with an accelerometer so it can be operated in multiple directions. Interestingly, you will also be able to plug in a mouse, demonstrating that you can use many different input methods. Wireless keyboard, mouse, stylus, and finger. Coming to the design it will be big, black and shiny, more like a big iPhone. However it wont be bigger than half the size of a Macbook’s screen.

Finally the iTablet will use both the sides for information and use solid state storage. This is about it so lets wait for Macworld.

So, let me get this right: I can fire up my Microsoft Virtual Earth and navigate my way to see classified military secrets? I guess so, as Ogle Earth shows us. A Nautical fan named Dan did just that, finding a satellite image of an Ohio-class US submarine with a new, secret propeller design. When the submarines are out of the water, the props are supposed to be covered up. Oops.

So far the Navy’s been mum on the issue. Were Steve Jobs an admiral.
